Companionship and support at home
Reliable, nurse-led care and companionship you can trust with long term or occasional support for you or your loved one.
You’re not alone
If you are here, it is likely because you are supporting someone you love, and we know from experience that this can feel heavy at times.
Supporting someone can be rewarding, but it can also be worrying and exhausting. There is often a quiet weight that comes with wondering how someone is really managing when you are not there.
Odyssey and our caring team are here to step in when you cannot, offering practical help and genuine companionship at home, with the reassurance of our nurse-led approach.
Our companions spend meaningful time with your loved one, offering support, conversation and familiar company that helps each day feel a little easier.
Every visit is backed by a carefully selected team and experienced nurse-led guidance, ensuring support is always safe, consistent and reassuring.
Because every day can look a little different
Some days your loved one may feel active and keen to do things for themselves. Other days they may not feel up to much. Both are completely okay.
Our companions support independence where it feels right, and step in when a little more help is needed. There is no pressure and no rush. And when you cannot always be there, it helps to know someone experienced is keeping a gentle eye on things.
Whether that is supporting a trip to the shops, sitting down for a game of chess, sharing a cup of tea and conversation, or accompanying them to an appointment, we are there to support the routines and moments that matter most.
Our team are carefully selected and trained, and our nurse-led approach means there is always experienced support behind the scenes. Because our companions spend regular time with the people they support, they are often the first to notice if something feels a little different. If needed, they can speak directly with our nurse, who can visit, check in and help us understand if any extra support or advice might be needed.
